Since he's been home...

Life has been a whirlwind! It doesn't feel like we have stopped. But here is an quick update for everyone.

Here we are after picking up the kids! Back to a whole family again!!

We presented this flag to Steven's firm in appreciation for their support this year. We did the same for my firm as well. Both flags were flown over Camp Victory in Iraq on July 4, 2010. Steven has pictures of both being flown as well. They are so beautiful in person and there is a plate on the frame stating all of this info on it. I think everyone really liked them.

Of course, there was lots of play time with Daddy!! I wanted a family pic in front of the Welcome Home sign but they wouldn't cooperate. Owell!

Daddy, Reed, and Lilly taking down the very LAST link!! YEA!

Daddy chasing Reed....

Daddy and Lilly getting re-acquainted over some fruit snacks!

Then for the next week we were non-stop with fun times with the kids, truck shopping for Steven, new cell phone for Steven, Christmas shopping, Christmas parties, etc. Too bad I didn't have my camera for any of it! Then Steven got sick...then I got sick...then Lilly got sick! With all of us on anti-biotics, the fun kinda stopped. We did make it to the Christmas party at school though where Reed performed with his class...

First Santa came to visit...Reed was so excited and was the first one up there!

Lilly wasn't so sure about him but she was getting a present so she dealt with it!

Then it was time for singing...Reed was so cute and did so good! His class sang Jingle Bells and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.

Then they joined Mrs. Paige's class for We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

Then it was time for the parties with tons of goodies!

Then Christmas came...I was still feeling terrible so bad mommy didn't really get any good pics from the day...none....bummer too...they were so cute in their Christmas outfits!

Lilly attached to Uncle Paul!

After Christmas it was back to the doctor for me and luckily I started to feel better finally! This past week we have ran around preparing for our big trip. We are so so excited!!! My next post will be about DISNEY WORLD!!!! YEA!!!!

For good!!! YEA!!! We surprised the kids at school. Reed was so excited and keeps telling Steven "I am so glad you're home." Lilly was hesitant at first but has warmed up to him alot! More to come later...much needed family time.

I also found out today that Onebane Law Firm was honored with a Patriot Award from ESGR (Employer Support of The Guard and Reserve). Of course, this was more than deserved for all the support everyone has given us this year. A big huge Thank You!!

We're getting so close!! YEA!!

Lately...

So we've been busy little bees lately. I turned the Big 3-0...how sad...let's move on. We had Oakley's third birthday party at the fun jump place...Reed had a blast.

Lilly loved playing with the hula-hoops

Waiting for cake!

Then we headed down to New Orleans for the Thanksgiving break. When we got there, dad was listening to the Beatles. The kids joined in the dancing!

Thanksgiving day we headed to Uncle Scott and Aunt Beth's house. Lilly played dress up with her cousins.

The boys hanging together

Beauty Queens

Grandma and Grandpa Hun came to visit too. Grandpa Hun and Reed built many forts....and guess who kicked them down!

Yea, her too!

Then we had Sundaes with Santa at the Delta Zeta house....Reed loved making his ornament
Lilly ran around with her undressed baby doll! She will not keep the dolls clothes on!
Family pic with Santa....this was the only way to get Lilly close to him! She was scared.

Some of the girls and our munchkins.

Festival of Trees

Tonight we went to Festival of Trees. Festival of Trees is a kick off to the holiday season and a fundraiser for Acadiana Youth. We went with Renee (and Chloe) and Devon (and Jace). The boys ran wild so it was a tiring night! I dressed them up in the Christmas gear since we would see Santa. Reed is such a little man and Lilly was beautiful in her adorable dress.
First picture with Santa this year!!

Waiting for Devon and Jace to get there!

I try and I try and I try to get pictures of them together and I ALWAYS fail!

Stud muffin!

Reed and Jace. Jace is about a year younger than Reed but geez look at the size difference!! Reed is HUGE! Yea, that is 5T clothing already...he's only 3!

Lilly and Chloe found the baby fun jump and they loved it!

Peek A Boo!

Family pic! Well minus one very important part =(

Chloe bug was all smiles!

They were intently watching kids do Karate on the stage.

I asked what he wanted the balloon man to make him and he said an "air-e-o-plane"....and that's what he got.

Last attempt at a pic together...not terrible, not fantastic. UGH!

Sleepy Girl

This past Sunday both kids refused to take naps. Lilly almost knocked out a few times but big brother was always there to get her back up! Reed does ok without a nap...not great and usually that means earlier bed time at night. Lilly is not yet made to miss a nap though. So, when we sat down for dinner, this is what went on. Eventually she completely fell asleep in her high chair. Poor thing can't hang!!

Oh, and another adorable sight that I get to see pretty often now. Since Steven left again in August, Reed has woken up almost every night and came to my bed. Some mornings when I get out of bed to get ready he will tell me he is going check on Lilly (he usually hears her stirring through the monitor). One morning I walked into their room and found them in the crib together. Reed figured out how to get in and they were having a blast together. Now, he gets in there often. Just the other night I put Lilly in her crib and I was on the hunt for a nu-nu for her. When I came back into their room, Reed was in the crib 'reading' her a book. Too cute!

Months of the Year

I had no idea he knew this until I went to his Halloween party and he performed...I swear these kids totally hold back the good stuff! Now I can explain to him that Daddy comes home in December and he might actually understand it a little better!
