I decided to sign Reed up for soccer with LYSA Turf Tykes. Kids had to be 3 by July 31st so we barely made the cut off. The program runs for 6 weeks and we go every Saturday morning. So, Saturday was our first day. There were about 300 kids sign up and while they split us up at 2 parks, it sure did seem like we were all at one! It was mass chaos to say the least but hilarious!
Luckily while in the parking lot we ran into Ethan and family. Ethan just changed schools so this was the first time the boys saw each other in about a month. We stuck together and the boys got picked together on a 'team' for the day.

Ethan decided he didn't want to play anymore and just take pics. Of course, that started Reed wanting to do the same. I got Reed back out on the field pretty quick but Ethan was done.
Geez, there are those hands again!
He made a goal!! The goal keeper was not too happy but he had blocked several attempts prior to this one.
Whew....that was fun!
Despite the craziness of lugging 2 kids, an ice chest, chairs, etc we really had alot of fun and cant wait until next weekend.
