Since Lilly wasn't coming, I snapped a pic before we left. She was excited to stay home with PawPaw.
So, we make it downtown and grumpy is not wanting mommy to take pics already~~he got over it quick though.
We make it in and it was non stop running the second we walked in the Aquarium.
Daddy makes goofy fish faces...
And of course, Reed finds the slide!
After the aquarium, we walked through the Riverwalk and ate lunch there. We were hoping Reed would fall asleep for a little while but he didn't. So we decided to walk down to the Children's Museum. One of the first things when you walk is a screen that you make movements in....well, Daddy and Reed got to dancin'!
We finally managed to but he ran....
and ran.....
and ran....
until he found ANOTHER train table....
Little did Reed know at the time, Steven picked up a train table, tons of tracks, houses, trains, the works from one of the partner's at my firm. His kids grew out of it and he offered it to us. So, of course we jumped at the chance. We knew after the day at the museum how excited he was going to be when we got home and set everything up.
So, we leave downtown and get back to my dad's house. Steven and I went to dinner and a movie while my parent's watched Reed and Lilly. Sunday morning we went to breakfast and hit the road early so Steven could study for his quiz. When we got home, we pulled out the train set and set it up. Needless to say, it is all Reed plays with and has replaced my coffee table for now...but not for long!!! I'll get some pics of him playing and post soon...he is too cute and even has a conductor hat!
Until next time....

Reed's 2nd Birthday Party
The cake table with the party favors...So, again, in something I would have NEVER thought I would be doing....I customized some of the favors. I found some cute bubbles and made personalized labels for Reed's 2nd B-Day. The rest of the favors were just coloring books, crayons, silly string...typical kid stuff.
A few of the many little ones playing...wish I would have snapped more pics!
After a fun day of playing, he was hot and sweaty!
Mommy and Daddy got him the set of three big Tonka trucks....don't know where the other one is for this pic. He loves them!
And baby sister was there in her pretty party dress but mommy didn't take as many pics as she wanted since she was busy the whole time. But, trust me, she looked beautiful! She spent the day in the arms of grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, and friends.
