Daddy's Home!!

So, Daddy got home from his annual training on Thursday afternoon. We picked up Reed and Lilly after I got off of work and headed to Chuck E Cheese so Reed could have some Birthday fun. He loved running around but wasn't so interested in playing the games or riding anything.

Lilly had fun too but she didn't get to run around everywhere....maybe next year!

Steven found out Thursday night that his promotion went through with the National Guard. They were holding family day on Friday and were going to have the promotion ceremony then. We decided to send the babies to school for the day and headed to family day. As his wife, I 'pinned' him with this Captain rank. It was really velcro since he was not in his more formal uniforms but same thing.

We planned on spending the rest of the day shopping for the party but slept for hours instead! I was tired after 3 weeks of being mommy and daddy! We picked up the kids and went to get everything for the party. So so so good to have him back home!
